Hey there! I just wanted to check in and ask, “Are you okay?”

Remember, it’s okay not to be OK sometimes. These dreary winter months can be a little tricky to navigate, and seasonal affective depression is no joke.

I know the world feels heavy right now, and many unsettling things are happening. As much as we need to stay informed, I want to caution you on getting caught up in what I call “the swirl.” That’s when you get so immersed or “wrapped up” in the world’s craziness that you can’t think of anything but the bad things.

Questioning every possible event, outcome, or result can only lead to us doubting our abilities and in others. The worst part is that, in most cases, we do not have a realistic way to answer these questions.

This leads to other unhealthy habits, such as predicting and forecasting. We don’t have an answer, so we predict what will happen or make up possible scenarios.

So rather than continue to worry about the outcome, do something about it. Take positive actions rather than worrying about how actions out of your control can impact you. 💙

If you’re going through a tough time, know you’re not alone. Reach out for support, practice self-care, and remember that healing and growth are possible. Sending love and positive vibes your way.
