Does anyone else feel like spring is the real New Year?

There’s just something about the longer days, the fresh air, and those tiny green buds on the trees that scream, “Let’s start fresh!”
And while we all know about spring cleaning for closets and junk drawers, this season is also the perfect time to reset your mind, body, and, yes… your inbox. (Don’t roll your eyes—we’re getting to that.)
So, let’s discuss how to hit that spring refresh button without going into full-on burnout mode and trying to do everything.

Here’s how I’m approaching my spring reset— maybe it’ll inspire you to do the same.
1. Mind: Make Some Mental Space
Our minds pick up clutter just like our living rooms do. Worry, overthinking, random to-do lists you never wrote down… it piles up.
Try this:
- Do a brain dump. Grab a notebook and spill everything in your head onto paper. No editing, no judgment. Just clear the clutter.
- Revisit your goals. Are they still aligned with where you’re at? It’s okay to pivot.
- Take a tech break. Even a few hours off screens can feel like a mini-mental vacation.
Bonus tip? Start saying no to things that drain you. Spring is about blooming, not overcommitting.
2. Body: Move, Nourish, Rest
There is no need to reinvent your entire wellness routine overnight, but a few gentle shifts can go a long way.
Try this:
- Get outside. Even a 10-minute walk can work wonders for your mood and energy.
- Drink more water. (I know—classic advice, but are you actually doing it?)
- Add in seasonal foods—greens, berries, whatever’s fresh. Your body will thank you.
- Go to bed a little earlier. Your future self will love you for it.
Spring is the season of lightness. This is your permission slip to move in good ways, not punishing.

3. Inbox: Declutter Your Digital Life
You knew it was coming. That inbox full of unopened emails and random newsletters you forgot you subscribed to? Let’s clean it up.

Try this:
- Unsubscribe from anything you haven’t read in months. (Be ruthless.)
- Set up folders or labels for important stuff.
- Archive or delete old junk. Just looking at a clean inbox feels like a breath of fresh air.
- Block off one “email power hour” weekly to catch up instead of letting it creep into every day.
And while you are at it, how about clearing out all those old desktop files, icons, tabs, and browser extensions?
This could also include your phone’s home screen and deleting those 87 blurry photos of the same sunset.
It’s time to do a digital spring clean, too. Trust me, you will feel lighter after you do!
A spring reset doesn’t have to be a complete transformation. It’s about small shifts that help you feel more aligned, energized, and calmer inside and out.
So whether you’re clearing your inbox, stepping outside for some fresh air, or just taking a few deep breaths between tasks… you’re doing it. You’re resetting.
And that’s more than enough. 🌸
